The Praxis Story

PRAXIS was developed by personal trainer Ken Malmstrom.

 

 

As a trainer/coach, Malmstrom sometimes encountered new clients who did not have very much equipment.  To give his clients variety as well as to to challenge them in different ways he would regularly integrate exercise bands into the regime.   The bands were looped under couch legs or around door knobs.   This was OK but had it’s limitations.

If only there was a way to strategically place anchor points at specific heights and have them fastened to a stable platform – PRAXIS was born.

In 2009 Ken Malmstrom teamed up with Stefanie Herron -Rresearcher/personal trainer/acupuncturist.   Herron became hooked on PRAXIS training immediately, she would carry one everywhere.   Malmstrom & Herron joined forces and PRAXISeverywhere was founded.

`We are so very pleased to announce that PRAXIS was immediately received with great fanfare.  Only 2 weeks after our launch PRAXIS  was picked up by 2  large fitness chains, shortly after that PRAXIS was featured on 2 local television shows and 3 different fitness publications.   We are ecstatic!   It is so important to include physical activity in your life,  for us to bring a product to marketplace that contributes to this idea is a dream come true for Ken and I`
